New York City for Me

This was a Free Hugs campaign done in Manhattan.

I was first inspired to do the Free Hugs when I saw Juan Mann’s video. I read his story and felt very inspired to do a Free Hugs with a bunch of friends.

Everybody needs that hug to make them feel better =D
I think that a lot of people out there just need a hug. They might have had a bad day at work or school, or their significant other for years might’ve just broken up with them. A hug could instantly make someone feel better, no matter how bad their current situation is.

When we hugged a lot of people, I felt really happy and I hope everyone that hugged us were just as happy.

I apologize for my horrible video editing skills… please forgive me. No bashing, please?

Huggers were: Me (the chubby one), Yan (the pretty girl), Jackie (the guy in the blue) and Quan (the guy in the black)

The music is by Sick Puppies- All the Same

Places that we hugged in were Chinatown, Union Square and Midtown.

I think it’s very ironic how when I first asked, nobody wanted to do the Free Hugs thing calling me “weird” and “stupid”, but after certain friends saw this video, they wanted to do it.
